With almost 6,000 riders taking part in 2015, the event has established itself as one of the most popular mass participation bike rides in the country, attracting cyclists from across Australia and internationally. The event is a UCI Gran Fondo World Series qualifier and with the 2017 UCI Gran Fondo World Championships in France, the road to the rainbow jersey begins here. Held in Lorne, Victoria, the event includes a weekend of family-friendly activities that makes the Wiggle Amys Gran Fondo not just an event, but an experience.
OVERVIEW OF THE EVENT WEEKEND
The event weekend takes place over two days, starting on Saturday 10 September 2016 with the Amys Otway Tour Criterium in the main street of Lorne in the afternoon followed by Amys Wall hill-climb in the evening. Both events are public, anyone can enjoy the action.
On Sunday 11 September 2016 the main event, Wiggle Amys Gran Fondo takes place. In order to participate, you must enter the event online.

New reverse course that concludes with breathtaking views along the Great Ocean Road & finishes on the main street in Lorne
45km Amys Medio Fondo
Showcases the entire stretch of the picturesque Great Ocean Road from Apollo Bay to Lorne (includes return bus)
7km Amys Family Fondo
Chose to do one or two laps of the 7km loop. Ideal for families, kids and the local community
Wiggle Amys Gran Fondo is held in memory of Amy Gillett and conducted by the Amy Gillett Foundation. Participants raise much needed funds to help the Amy Gillett Foundation create a safe bike riding environment in Australia.
