This prime waterfront, 2 bedroom self contained limestone cottage is located in a quiet garden setting, just a short stroll along the foreshore to the swimming beach, shops, hotels, theatre or the pier.
Private parking for 2 vehicles only available via access from Smith Street (see attached map).
*From Mountjoy Parade, walk through 218’s beautiful garden, past the bird fountain, up the steps and look back at the sea.
*Continue around the main house to the cottage set in its private garden Step into the entrance hall and look around. You will immediately appreciate its ambience with books, magazines and games.
*The cottage has a well-stocked kitchen/sitting room: antique dresser, microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, hotplate, kitchen fan, crockery, and cutlery. a. TV & video for entertainment and an electric heater for cool evenings. Prepare your meals or a snack and eat it while sitting at table for 4 and enjoying the view out the window through the garden to Loutitt Bay.
*The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen sized bed, chest of drawers and reading lamps. A block out thermal blind will ensure a goodnight’s sleep. Raise the blind and enjoy a clear view of private garden.
*The second bedroom has twin beds, chest of drawers, and double glass doors to an alternative entrance if desired. All beds are fitted with electric blankets; linen provided on request with the exception of mid December- January period.
*Bathroom contains shower, toilet and hand basin. Laundry facilities available on request only. Fold away cot and stroller available.
*The cottage has its own outdoor setting: table and seats, gas BBQ and a large umbrella. Deck chairs are stored in the cottage for use outside.
*Private parking for 2 vehicles only, access from Smith Street via shared access (see attached map )
Except for day trips, leave the cars parked, and walk via the garden to Lorne’s front street, shops and foreshore. You will love the garden and be delighted with your prime position.
