Ocean Lodge is nestled quietly in large, beautifully landscaped gardens overlooking Loutitt Bay, on an elevated site 100 metres above The Great Ocean Road. All motel units and apartments have spectacular views across the bay to Aireys Inlet lighthouse.

The historic Lorne Pier is just a few minutes walk, where you can purchase fresh seafood from the fish shop, dine at the Lorne Pier Seafood Restaurant or stroll along the pier and take in the view across to Lorne township.

The town centre is an easy walk from Ocean Lodge. There you will find a wide range of boutique clothing and gift stores, gourmet food stores and a supermarket. There are many high quality restaurants and cafes where you can relax and unwind over a meal or drink. Beach goers can relax on the surf beach adjacent to the main street and surfers have many locations along the picturesque coast from which to choose.

Lorne is renowned for beautiful drives and walks through the majestic Otway Forest. Enjoy a quiet and serene walk through the forest observing the indigenous flora and fauna and numerous spectacular water falls, or walk along the unsurpassed stretch of beach taking in the fabulous coastal views.

Motel Units
All rooms have breath taking views across Loutitt Bay towards Aireys Inlet. The recently refurbished rooms are light and spacious. Most open onto a private balcony where you can relax and enjoy the view. The well appointed rooms include a queen size bed and ensuite as well as a kitchenette with microwave oven for simple meal preparation.

Apartments
The modern, north-facing apartments are set in stunning landscaped gardens, with magnificient, uninterrupted views across Louttit Bay towards Eastern View and the Aireys Inlet light house. Each-two story apartment is designed with the queen size bedroom and bathroom upstairs, while downstairs the kitchen/sitting room lead onto the private balcony. The kitchens are equipped with a microwave oven, twin hotplates and dishwasher. Apartment #1 is ideal for families with sleeping and living facilities for up to 5 people; apartments 2-6 sleep up to 3 people. Each apartment has private carport with direct access to the upstairs area.
